About ArtReach

ArtReach provides access to relevant and dynamic visual arts education for TK-12 schools and youth-serving organizations throughout San Diego County. Since our founding in 2007, we have served over 60,000 students through artist residencies, mural programs, and community partnerships.

All curriculum is original, inspired by local and global contemporary artists, and is developed in-house to align with visual art (VAPA) and social-emotional learning (SEL) standards. Each lesson engages participants in creative thinking and hands-on artmaking that enhances artistic skills, exercises critical thinking, and develops problem-solving and self-expression abilities.

ArtReach provides the time, tools, and inspiration to radically transform the creative environment at 40+ K-12 schools each year. Our approach prioritizes equitable access through free and cost-sharing models that help bridge the opportunity gap and create a more inclusive and diverse artistic community.

Kids need equitable access to arts education.

You're here for it. We're here for it.

Your donation today makes the transformative power of hands-on artmaking accessible for 8,000+ young artists each year. A gift of any amount invests in our mission to ignite youth creativity through visual arts expression and community connection. Thank you for making it possible for our students to build confidence, take ownership of their unique ideas, and creatively contribute to their communities.
